As a point of interest, is it known how many XT500`s have been sold in Italy ?? or the Total number of registered XT500, including imports ?

We have this discussion last weekend while camping Here in Norway i know of 29 Bikes 7 of which are TT500`s. Most of these are imported the last years. XT500 was only available here from 1977 to 1980
I have now made a request with the Vehicle Registration office, on behalf of the Norwegian
Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club for information as to how many have been sold new and how many imports. As well as how many are Road Registered
If the request is accepted, then the results should prove interesting.

Thats easy sciotatore, The Food is Eaten and the New Wine is Warming to above Room Temperature

Our outdoor Room was -2c too cold for Wine

Normally if you go to them with a Registration number or Chassis number, they will print out "ALL" the Details of Bike and all previous owners Which is not really a good thing
This time through the club (VJMC) we ask for "ALL" of the XT ever Registered And Hope for a Positive Responce

Very interesting question...
I don't know but I can tell you that we have recorded about 400 XT500 of our members over the last 11 years but I'm sure the amount of XT500 sold or imported is higher.

May be someone could make further investigation and provide us with some interesting figures.

I don't' know how many XT 500 were imported in Italy, In Roma I know about 30 owners but I'm sure the XT are at least 60...perhaps

Mr Puffin...it's Top Secret but I can say that hares, pheasants, wild pigs, cows, tuna, sea bass and just a couple of excellent Italian pasta dishes, good wine and 46 years of hard training have helped to fill my jacket
